Winchester hoped that they would accept him, or at least heal him enough so that he could continue his journey. It would be harder though, leaving Cas behind after thinking him dead.

Winchester didn't know any of these wolves, but he hoped they were kindhearted, and could see he was a generally well-meaning wolf. He had been limping as Cas brought him to the border, and the journey had tired him out. Winchester felt ready to fall asleep. But that wasn't any way to make a good impression, was it?
