And just like that, she was abandoned. Should Bronze have felt annoyed by the quick escape of her new friend? Maybe. She was a bit surprised by the turn of events but that was due to her mind already filtering out bits and bobs from her day's struggle. When Lulu departed, so too went all memory of her. This left a strange sensation within Bronze — and caused a brief but intense confusion — because she knew she had been here for a while and talking with someone, but not the person that was currently bearing down upon her.

The girl was tense and as flat as can be, trying to look small. When asked for her name she confidently replied, Oh I know that one! I'm Bronze. and despite the different emotions bubbling in her (and drifting away) she sounded extremely pleased with herself.
