Having had a lot (and I mean A LOT) of time to think about life and its wonders, Ondine didn't usually think as others did. Much like the water she was so fond of, the witch moved with the wind and the vibrations of the earth and accepted wherever she landed. Yes, she settled and she was loyal, but her free spirit rarely took a day off. Perhaps this was the only reason she wasn't perfectly fit for a leader role - unless the ones following her didn't mind a bit of theatrics every now and then.

She knew she was being vague, but she wasn't about to pour her heart out right in front of him.
