If Foxglove had been able to read minds and see, what was going on in Engel's, when he followed her into the woods, she would have laughed. If she had understood the implication and the joke. The proposed idea was silly in itself, yet if Engel decided to kick the bucket at one point and she would happen to be around before everyone else, he could be asured that his bones would be scattered among the myriad of others in this pit. And this rare moment of imagination made Foxglove smile for the first time in many months if ever in her life.
