Milton cried but his tears became part of the water. She could not see him cry if he was drowning. But he was! He was under the water and he could not hear her yelling at him. His eyes were open and it hurt to keep them still. All of a sudden his head got funny feeling. He didn’t know what was happening. His legs kicked without his permission! What the hell, legs. He flapped his arms and legs and he cried more because he was not doing what he was told. The more he started to flap then the higher he went up in the water again.
