The ivory she-wolf far surpassed a friendly face – it would later bring the swarthy female to a loss when she would recall the sharp request she would receive when the den would flood in the storm. For now, though.. it was a pleasant surprise.
 
Her eyes followed the puppy’s antics, feeling her heart melt at the sight. She had never felt the desire to have her own litter, but that did not mean she didn’t like other kids. The inky little girl was no exception to innocence and mischief, and Vega’s gaze was only pulled upward once more when Scarlett asked how she was settling in.
 
Bearclaw Valley did not feel like home – but she was working to remedy this. “I’m becoming familiar with the land,” she finally offered, evading the question fully in terms of ‘settling in.’  Scarlett was the only other pack member she had met aside from Kove and Raziel.. and how quickly the hierarchy had shifted since she had joined.
