All welcome, but attention Atropos! :D

She was born of Atka and the Sea—the Sun and the Moon—and was blessed by both deities. From the day of their birth onwards, Lysianassa Kesuk-Nereides and her sister, Atropos, were constantly reminded of this by their mothers. Aktaie, the living manifestation of the Sea herself, and Nanuq, the chosen of Atka—or so, at least, Lysianassa believed. As the daughters of powerful goddesses, their destinies would be great... and rather than shrink in fear from this, Lysianassa embraced it. When the dreams came, at a mere five months of age, the young siren decided to chase it.

Aktaie, the mother that had birthed her, resisted the idea at first—fearing the loss of daughters once again, so soon after Circe and Hekate had returned to her. But as the Sea's voice within the Cove, the former Siren Queen could not deny her goddess' Will. The signs given by Atka only served to solidify the journey the daughters of the Siren and Warchief must take. Besides, Nanuq had argued, with Atka to guide and protect them, they would come to no harm.

And so Atropos and Lysianassa had left the shores of Echo Cove, leaving their home behind but their heritage close to their hearts. For they would return, but first they must find out what Atka and the Sea needed from them.

It had been a grand adventure thus far, but weeks into the journey left Lysianassa feeling weary and homesick. As she drew closer to the small lake's shore, she gave a heavy sigh—it was but a tiny drop of rain compared to the ocean she was used to. But it was something, at least, to attempt to fight the desire to simple return home where the wind smelled of salt and seaweed. Without waiting to see if Atropos followed, the young Kesuk-Nereides leapt into the water with a gleeful bark.
