Vassago, as usual, was up quite early. It was, however, the only time of day in which he was fully calm and sweet, the sleepy little potato. It was only a little while after waking that his father also woke, but the best part was yet to come. The big dark man stood, Vass' baby blue eyes tracking him, and then Burke CALLED to him. And, like a clap of thunder, Vassago realized there was another sense added to his arsenal: hearing. In his groggy stupor of morning, the boy hadn't realized the chirping of birds or the wind fleeting across the earth. Burkes voice, however, had brought him to the realization of it all, and the pup grew even more excited than his father not that it was hard for the pup. Of course he didn't understand the vocalizations from his sires maw, but he could hear the excitement in his voice.
Didn't have to tell this little troublemaker twice, for as soon as Burke motioned for him to come he was scrambling over both Pyro and Malice in his haste to join. The chestnut faced boy slipped and tumbled into the earth, but he was fast to wiggle it off and prance to his father, burying his face in the big males foreleg. He wasn't yet a master of walking, slipping often and sometimes falling, but the confidient young boy was learning fast.
