Damien spoke first, as befit his station as the current leader of Blackfeather Woods and the Dark Brotherhood, as well as being the eldest brother of the three. With his pledge finished, Potema spoke up. While Cicero was older than her by mere moments, she thought that it was her turn to speak. The position she would uptake was as, if not more, important than Damien's: that of Listener. In other sects of the Brotherhood, the Listener was the highest position, but here it was different.
