Kendra sat away from them, watching the ritual but not really watching. It wasn't like anyone was bothered by her. They were all more focused on making her older siblings part of their cult. What did it even matter? She didn't believe in Mephala anymore. She brought nothing good to her in this life. Her life sucked, filled with pain and hurt. All she thought would stay wouldn't.
