After a hard couple of days sparring and training with Aeronwyn, the boy felt as though he needed a day of rest. Though he knew it would take a huge amount of effort and determination to gain the title of his trade, he deemed it as good a time as any to give his muscles a brief break from the rounds of practice he had endured. In all honesty, he didn't mind how many times he had to rear up and strike at his fellows, nipping at their limbs and battering their skulls; yes, it felt wrong to hurt one of his own yet he was learning, gaining knowledge and experience that would help him in the long run. It was also a great way to bond with his comrades, getting to know each of them as he tested them for their weaknesses and vice versa.

He let his paws lead him throu the mossy entangles of the forest until he wound up on the grassy banks of the river, his paws forming shallow dimpled in the damp ground as he closed the gap between him and rushing currents. Dipping his cranium, he lapped up a good amount of the crystalline liquid, enough to quench the dryness that was beginning to irritate him with every breath. After satisfying his thirst, he waded in deeper until the flow tugged gently at his ivory underbelly. The bite on his chest stung slightly so he dipped his body until it was submerged. His body quivered as he relished the relief it gave him and soon the pain diminished to a dull throb. As he stood there allowing the water to tug rhythmically as his fur, his honeyed pools caught sight of schools of tiny silver darts hovering just below the surface. With a curious tilt of his head, he wondered what they were and he lifted his paw out of the river to slam it down experimentally upon the rippling surface. After the shock waves had diminished, he was surprised to find the scaly imbodiments had scattered, earning another quizzical look from the yearling.
