Still being so young, his fur had yet to become a bit more resistant to the rain. It was with ease that the droplets had been able to sliver their way down to meet his skin, sending a few chills up and down his spine. He wanted more than anything to return to the den where it was both dry and warm, but seeing no movements from his sister prevented him from doing so. Some part of his mind knew that she couldn't just be left out there alone, and so without an adult to drag them back in, he was made to stay out there until she was done. In the meantime, Hvit could feel his body growing heavier and heavier, the water having since begun slicking down his coat. Yet, it was something that he couldn't even begin to understand, and so a whine of confusion had slipped past his lips. A quick conclusion had been made following that, believing that the rumbling beast was the one dragging him down. It would be a slow process, too, which made him wonder more about what had been done to anger the monster.

Feeling Thyri's body against his own offered some form of reassurance, but not enough for him to relax fully. The boy had glanced back towards the entrance, his gaze all but insisting that they return there. He was prepared to go back in and wake up anyone that he needed to, too, when a different type of cold was felt against his cheek. It was quickly revealed to be his sister's doings, and so he'd leaned back into her, all thoughts of returning inside temporarily abandoned. Turning to better face her, he'd then tried to bury his face into the crook of her neck, unconsciously looking to use her as a shield, still, against the rain.
She swept in and stole the flame,
leaving a dragon without his breath
