He wanted company. He liked her company so far, quiet and explorative as they both were of one another; yet when she began to come closer, something changed. Tryphon sniffed softly at her but did not dare contact her skin with his wet nose - and then with not a word uttered, he seemed to recoil from her and slink shyly backwards. In his retreat he cast her a few looks, almost as if he wanted to invite her to run with him, but in the end he did not speak - he did not do much aside from flee, vanishing in to the dark.
