The absence yet not disappearance of Bain was fresh in her mind. He was the only male that had ever gotten her full attention, and she wished that he was the one who would protect her in these dangerous times. But alas, he was no where to be seen. Mentally, she took charming-points off for this missed chance, but she knew very well that he was far too cute to let go of for real. She pressed her tail against her untouched flower to perhaps mask the scent, but the footfalls of another made her realize she was too late to do anything about this utter disaster. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath and then turned to face him.

Only the sight of her alpha made her uncomfortable in her lower zone, and she pressed her tail even harder against herself. There was a look in his eyes she had not seen before, though she knew it to be not love nor appreciation.
