Redhawk Caldera arcane

One minute he was struggling and the next, the weight and pressure were gone. Gannet opened his mouth, sucking in a big breath and wrinkling his nose.  Where did he go?

Then Whip was there, and it made a lot more sense.  "No," he said, grinning and jumping up.  If his brother hadn't come he would have been in trouble, but the two of them were apparently too much for the stranger!  His struggling had caused the teeth clenched around his neck to break the skin, but the scratches were superficial, and currently he barely noticed them.

"Let's make sure he's gone", Gannet said suddenly, nuzzling his brother and then galloping a short ways after the retreating intruder.  Just as far as the borders!! The chase would be more fun with his brother.
