With each step he took in the name of wanderlust, Pyro was growing closer to the very place from which his parents had risked their lives to save him and Vassago. They had fled with barely anything left but their breath, with the hope to find a new life far from those dangers. Of course, Pyro didn't know anything about this, and didn't even remember that his brother had once warned him about the dark wolves that wanted him dead. In his ignorance, Pyro was blissful, and the broad world all around him was his playground.

After the incident at Lake Rodney, Pyro had decided that exploring the Fen's backyard simply wasn't enough. He could see for miles ahead in every direction, and the adventures he imagined he could find beyond his parents' watch were too exciting to ignore. He hadn't told anyone about his departure, nor would he come back to warn them, but Pyro had made a choice for himself for the first time in his life, and whether it was a foolish one of a brave step forward, the weakling of Two Rivers Isle existed no more. His desire for expansion had overshadowed his fear of living, and although he felt bad for not telling his parents he couldn't brush that thrill-enchanted smile off his face.

He'd spent the night snuggled inside an abandoned hole, barely large enough for him to fit in. But when Pyro woke up in the morning he discovered just how far he'd come in just a couple days. He tried to sight the Fen in the distance, but he had already traversed enough of the wilderness for it to cover home with layers upon layers of hills and forests. North was the only way to go now, and north he went, entering the Bramblepoint with that smile on his face, and high hopes about his future.
