Lia's face softens as the young woman leaves, obviously stung by their words. 

The doyenne did not mean to hurt her but she will not lie to Kitsch. She is expendable and the Raurc would rather not see the wintry sprite hurt by something far worse than the words of her pack mates. Kitsch will have to grow up quickly; she will have to make herself valuable or she will not survive this place. 

"Soon," she answers, dipping her head to him once more before returning to the bloodied forest.
