There came moments when he tried to take in the greater picture, but it only served to make his head spin unimaginably fast. It was so much, and his search for answers continued to come up empty. Often, he wondered what it was he was meant to do, besides turn his tail back to the Glade and return to wallow in his loss or run endlessly into the Wilds on a trail he couldn't seem to catch.

However, he had never seen waterfalls like those and he felt pulled in by the sight of it somehow despite all the weight in his chest. Somewhere between awe and wonder, but with his perpetual undertone of worry he couldn't bring himself to do more than creep forward stride by stride for a better look. It was this that brought him into view of a fellow stranger and she seemed focused on the waters as well. Not that he could blame her.

Silas swallowed thickly and began to move closer. "Uh, hi." he said with his ears down flat and posture showing his nervousness as he eyeballed the pale-coated female worriedly. But he meant no harm. "Have you ever seen it before?" he asked, trying to keep his voice steadier than he felt deep down.
