Wide paws more used to walking upon snow covered, frozen ground padded across the sand leaving blurred pawprints behind. He wasn't sure if he liked the way the sand stuck to the stiff fur between his toes, but that was almost forgotten as he looked out across the waves. The vastness of the ocean made him feel small-a feeling he wasn't used to-but he didn't mind it. The sound of the waves rushing in and breaking gently onto the sand was calming, as well as the tangy, wet scent of the sea.

The day was on the cooler end of the spectrum for spring and Corranochender was thankful for it. His naturally thicker pelt was perfect for the depths of winter, but anything higher than 50 degrees usually left him panting. Granted, he did shed out some of his pelt during spring and summer, but not enough to leave him comfortable. Large head slung low on his shoulders, nose hovering above the ground, he took in the scent of wolves and fish and other ocean-y things. The scent of wolves was fairly strong, indicating that there must be a pack nearby. Padding over to a large piece of driftwood, Cor sat next to, fluffy tail curling around his big paws, and gazed out over the water.
