Ever since their last meeting had Nyx wanted to go further with her training - to become a courtesan or not. She liked training with Miraak, liked how he took her places like no one ever did. It came as a surprise - his voice - coming from not too far away. Nyx was eager to leave home once again and knew exactly where the old man might be. The lake; she liked it there, and perhaps this was to test if she remembered where to go.

Arriving there, she had an unusual happy expression; the corners of her mouth were pulled up the tinniest of bits and her tail gave a graceful wag. She asked nothing for she knew what might be to come.
