Noctisardor Bypass Chapter 1

The howl sounded as Rhona was digging up some goldenseal she had fortuitously come across. She was digging around the plant in order to preserve the root, which could be used for a wide range of ailments including, but not limited to upper respitory infections, bleeding after birth, and even infected wounds.

She rubbed her muzzle against her forearm to get the dirt off of it and began trotting in the direction of the call. The tone and the notes of the howl had signified that the wolf was calling Empress and herself. 

Approaching the clearing, Rhona spied another of her packmembers she had yet to meet. A tall, lovely female with a vari-colored pelt. "Hello!" She called, a friendly smile upon her maw. "I'm sorry we haven't met yet, I'm Rhona."
