yep! here's an exit post- thanks for the thread!
she ran, and ran. her legs fell into a wild rhythm sustained by desperation, gaze set on the distant horizon and not glancing back for a moment. only when the sounds of battle met her ears did she falter, and felt first a wave of relief; relief that the woman had chosen battle with the other and not to chase her down. then came worry, for the scarred white woman, and for the briefest moment, she almost turned back. 

but she was a coyote, and them wolves. no matter how close she had become to wolves in the past, they were separated by a distinct line that would not be crossed. she was a coyote, and in this battle of 
wolves she could not lend aid nor interfere. so, with an odd pang of guilt, an emotion rarely felt, did she launch into steady rhythm once more, legs carrying her far from the women and their battle.
