Silas forcibly kept his expression steady. The explanation.. certainly gave him more to listen to, but he was not sure if he could call it the answer he was looking for. Not that any of it was wrong. He just could not decide how he felt about this proposition besides the kneejerk unnerved he grappled with. It came to him suddenly and with an intimidating stranger for a figurehead, who could blame him? That only stirred unease in him, a yearling once more upturned from the closest thing to home since before winter had come. He felt far too unsettled to make any weighty decisions like lending his loyalty anew so soon.

"Oh.. well, okay," he eventually accepted with a steep nod because he couldn't--and wouldn't--argue with any of it. "Thanks.. for the info." And the offer, although he couldn't bring himself quite to say it, not while feeling weird about it. He still noted the direction he pointed towards and peered back, unable to say any more than that.

And, after watching the stranger begin to make for his leave, Silas was quick to parrot a similar momentum as his formalities tied up and all he did was stare back. The Ostrega then proceeded to mutter something about needing to think and just go someplace that wasn't here, then nodded curtly on his turning away. He slid from the scene to digest that alone.
