It only took a moment and in that time Hemlock continued the lazy sway of her tail, enticing him forward with playful low grumbles and growls. These were games she played with Sirius too, and maybe soon they would play together; no doubt her ward was growing tired of her endless prattling (normally about plants they encountered on their walks) and maybe it was time to let loose some and release her hold on him. The children needed each other, they needed companions, and she would facilitate those relationships as much as possible.

She could only giggle when Roarke shook his head, tugging at the hare with the intention of winning his prize. It was astounding to think that soon he would catch his own, those gangly legs and big paws giving way to a more streamlined body. Hemlock did not want to think of that yet! Her eyes narrowed a bit, one eyebrow lifting teasingly as they were near nose to nose and she gave a little tug, not enough to make him fall but she wasn't going to give up so easily. She'd make him work for his prize, after all!
