his snort brought a grin to her muzzle, his words listened to with a flick of her ear. slightly odd, but helpful all the same; though she was careful to remain stoic on the outside, she was just a little bit excited at how this adventure might come to end. her meal she ripped into, finishing quickly, and, sated, leaving the scraps for a pair of grey jays which flapped nearby. 

she moved alongside the male, unsure of how the future would come to end; she was rather not very good nor excited to be a follower, but she reasoned that she could not go her entire life without being one.
