The wolf before him seemed determined in her destination, but Nikai wasn't going to let it beat him down too quickly. He was out with a mission, and regardless of the outcome it would be smart for him to meet other wolves — who knew it might come in handy for the pack some day. He pressed forward and approached with a friendly chuff, but just as he did she stumbled and fell. Her call of distress was enough for Nikai to be instantly triggered and he pressed forward swiftly.
"Are you okay?" he called out, though he made sure that he wasn't going to make the same mistake as her and stayed at the side. Hopefully the water wasn't too sticky or murky and she could easily get out again.
