Varick gave her his rapt attention as she went off with a dialogue as indepth as his, and he tried to keep all of the similar-sounding names straight in his head.  As she recounted the murder of her two brothers he gave a single curt nod of his head — it was the diplomatic thing to chase them, not to snuff them from existence!
