Steph brightened with glee when her mother agreed to take her hunting. Her eyes displayed a wonderous disbelief when Valette said she was quite the hunter. Really?! she said in awe. So you can teach me a lot! She knew most wolves knew how to hunt, but she also knew some were better than others. She was ecstatic to learn that Valette was one of the ones who were great at it. 

She tilted her head as she considered her mother's questions. How did Steph want to begin? She thought carefully what each one meant, her young mind working quickly to scan through each option. When she had decided, she looked up to Valette with certainty. Tracking! She loved learning about her surroundings, and being taught how to look for clues of her prey was even better.
