Burke grunted lowly when someone nudged him. To him, it felt like he had blinked for a long second and then woke. But the snow on his back indicated that he had been lying here for a longer time than he realized. Did he black out? Burke frowned lightly. His limbs feeling stiff and cold. So cold. The male started trembling a bit, barely catching the other wolf's worlds. He caught the word den. Oh yes, he liked that!

Burke slowly moved his head as he heard the voice of his grandson. Oh no. He didn't want Mato to see him like this. At least it spurred on the male to get back on his feet. He pushed himself up into a sitting position, the snow sliding off his back before the male's front paws gave in. He fell back down with his nose in the snow. Burke groaned loudly, mostly frustrated with himself. He tried to get to his feet once more. He needed help if he wanted to get out of this deep snow patch. "Help," he growled, not pleased that he needed help.
