Bearclaw Valley we know the way

He had seen the structure atop the Sunspire, and found it perfect. An isolated crag in the valley, encircling an idyllic little space with both a forest and a clearing. Fine for hunting, for a pack. . .and, most importantly, for stargazing.

He must have it.

In good spirits since running into Grayday again, Phocion had loped across the mountain range, a cream streak against the snowy white rocks. And descended quickly, like sleet, onto the valley itself, under the night sky.

Dawn was just about to break when he reached the edge of the territory and noticed something displeasing: scent markings. This magnificent place had been claimed, already. With a huff, Phocion sat on his haunches, frowning. He was still so curious, and yet. . .could he live under a leader, with a pack, that did not share his beliefs?

But perhaps he could enlighten them to the Truth. It was with this hope in mind that he gave a long howl for whichever wolves called this place home. Maybe he could, somehow, too.
