When she’s able to zero in on the smell, only to find her standing at the base of the tree and staring up, she stares in confusion. She isn’t the first wolf she’s found staring up at trees but usually she has a little more context. Slowly, Thuringwethil closes the distance, her feet careful on the hard ground to keep her quiet until she comes to a stop a few yards away, though not necessarily out of view, but quiet enough not to draw too much attention to herself.
