Burke offered her a smile. An actual smile. It was quick before it vanished again. He was not sure if he would see her again. If he didn't he would have peace with it. If he did then it would only be an added bonus to his life. "I don't believe in the afterlife," he commented but that was just him. His bunny tail wagged when she said her goodbye. "Well, good luck. Make your life worthwhile," he commented with a firm nod. The male watched the female. For a brief moment, he could only see Osprey. Her walking away after one of their meetings. With the cold seeping through his fur, Burke turned around back into the territory and to the safety of his den.
