Cedar Sweep and there's holes on the walls

A yip cut through the air and Ivy froze.  Yes, Cedar Sweep had been good to her, but a majority of that good was becuase other wolves rarely ventured out here.  Solitude afforded her opportunity to throw pity parties and have emotional breakdowns as she saw fit, both things that others would never have the chance to see if she could help it.  Her light gray brows drew together as she contemplated bolting in some random direction, using the split second of confusion to her advantage.  Yes, an element of surprise might give her the upper hand if it came to a chase.

.. but whoever the hell that was already had the upper hand.  Damnit!

Hoping that she'd be left alone if she simply ignored what was in reality a very friendly call, Ivy didn't move.  Then it started talking to her.  Ugh!  A single word got out - a name, maybe? - before she scowled and whippped around to face her stalker.  Oh for fuck's sa-!

His face caught her off guard.  No, his entire presence in Cedar Sweep caught her off guard.  Didn't he live in some mountain somewhere?  Or something.  Terance? she questioned, eyes blinking owlishly.  Ivy hardly thought she'd see someone she recognized out here.
