Her ear swiveled around as she listened to the soft woman's words, then fell forward again with a friendly chuckle and a nod. In old age, folks tend to find an appreciation for the things we once ignored, then, looking to her companion, but you seem young. Life must have aged you a bit too quickly. Forrest allowed her compassionate gaze to settle on the femme's face, studying her features and trying to search for some sign of confirmation. 

She sighed. Oh, don't mind me. I tend to babble a bit. That's another less savory part of aging, I suppose.
