Stone Circle Tonight we feast

The masked man was on his way back to Easthollow after a sojourn through the wilderness when the call rose, and while he was tired he also knew this to be a prime opportunity to meet his fellow packmates. So he was swift to deviate in his path, heading straight for the origin of the call; Larus was midway there when another rose up - this time Valette's voice requesting him specifically, among others - and he quickened his pace.

Larus was panting as he crested a hill, but from his vantage point he could see the gathering wolves and the nearby herd of bison. Although he was no stranger to large game, it was not often for Larus to seek out anything as formidable as a single bison, let alone a herd, when he was on his own. He found his heart thundering in his chest at the thought of chasing one down with the others, unaware that the plan wasn't to seek a healthy creature, but the aged and the dying.

Still, he lingered nearby to Valette and awaited instruction, clearly fixated on the herd with an eagerness that felt fantastically new.
