He listened with interest as she described Donnelaith, his ears flattening a bit at the news of the fire. Wraen didn't seem particularly perturbed while relaying the tale, plus her wording implied she hadn't been living there at the time. The notion seemed devastating nonetheless. Tambourine was having trouble locating his former pack land, yet at least he knew it existed out there somewhere. He felt strangely melancholic over his new friend's loss.

"You seem pretty likable to me," he said with a goofy grin, well aware this time that it was a cheesy line. "So your mother and brother live there with you?" he pressed genially, still keeping an eye peeled for any sign of this hideout.
