Ocean's Breath Plateau nuvole bianche

It felt good to be back on the ocean again. Amoxtli was confident that he would not travel far from it ever again. To have found his sister was the greatest miracle of all. Even then, he did not wish to be far from her side, but he knew that he would be able to return to her and that he would not lose her. The hound no longer feared the prospect of being on his own, for he had Coelacanth and he knew that they would not be separated.

Early in the morning, Amoxtli had wandered up onto the plateau where he sat and watched the gulls fly overhead. The wind was chilling, but he enjoyed the scent and taste of the sea breeze on his tongue. It had been some time since he had felt it and it the cold temperature was a small price to pay for the love of the land. One of the birds swooped over his head and the hound looked up with pointed ears and a whisper of a yip that didn't seem to alarm the gull at all. It circled over his head and then darted upward toward the thick grey clouds that were forming above him. Amoxtli watched with a small curling smile and sighed softly.
