Prince didn't really think it strange, but when his clouded mind caught up to the confusion in Arrille's tone he gathered the other wanted an explanation. Still not quite aware he was doing anything out of the ordinary, he stopped again to add: You're covered in salt from the sea.
Then he got back to it again-- assuming he remembered these first hours after the fall, he would later be embarrassed at how oblivious he was. It wasn't likely he would remember, though, and it perhaps wasn't clear if this would be a blessing or a curse.
