Barrow Fields give me the bed of bloody arrows

It doesn’t take long for the other to notice and turn to face her. She does not charge in response, or attempt to throw her off. She prepares for full impact by the way she locks herself into place. The warning snarl doesn’t go unnoticed but she barely entertains the thought, her lips peeled back to show her teeth and tongue curled, resting in her jaws. Each step propels her forward faster and with one more surge left in her, she takes the final leap—

—but she does not collide with the woman. In the last moment, before they collide, she offers her own warning snarl and jerks immediately to the left, veering around and (hopefully) out of reach.

Thuringwethil continues to run at a full sprint for several more yards, making a wide circle to turn around. This time she does not charge but her feet do not come to a stop. She makes the half circle, watching the sound-wolf, and weaves closer, teasing, egging the younger woman on.
