Sawtooth Spire gonna be alright

She made her steady progress, finally gaining ground to the point of seeing motion ahead. A satisfaction of that kind remained short-lived, however, and as she realized she would have to rethink her route to have any hope of closing in, she faded back once more to find the proper avenue over the mountainside that would save her any effort to spare.

The doe was one matter keeping her keyed in. Prey said the age-old hunger that wanted her nose to follow, but an earnest hunt had not been her intentions out alone, away from packmates. So such a curiosity was quick upon the stranger the scents said was male--and not of her pack (or their known allies), tracking too perhaps, but neither did she know if he was friend or foe right now. All of these possibilities left for her to find out kept her forward, surging closer on a quick turn of foot and well-placed path onward.

With all of her body language staying guarded, but curious and light-footed, she tried to find a path parallel to his to gauge him from several lengths away--yet in sight and near enough to have to consider. She knew very well she could be interrupting something, or downright intruding if he planned to hunt all for himself, and in the interest of understanding his business here alone on the trail of this deer, Jomyo made herself known all the same.
