the stranger's question is met with a lazy shrug, gracefully rolling his head in the direction of the creek behind him. unlike at ravensblood, their numbers have swollen enough that he feels comfortable disclosing their location -- besides, he smells of pack as well. "swiftcurrent creek, west of here," samothes says, "and yourself?"
