Vague because she currently has a thread with Tadec going outside of the territory. @Xan

Grezig had continued moving forward after her encounter with the coywolf. She had gone around the side of a mountain and had found herself at the border of a pack upon finding the entrance into a valley. She stood at the boundary line, sniffing curiously, and wondering if she had any chance at all of being accepted into a pack. She was a stranger here, and pack wolves were not known for taking in strangers (at least where she was from). She was also sexually mature, so alphas always thought about whether she would try to mate, have pups, and take resources from their own pups, if they had any. Grezig was not in heat, so maybe that would not be a problem.

She did have another problem, however. She had nothing to offer this pack as a gift, upping her chances that she would be accepted. She had run across the borders of a pack far sooner than she had expected, and now stood empty-handed. This was not how she had planned it to go. She turned away from the mouth of the valley, away from the smells of the pack, and tried to pick up the scent or sound of a small prey animal that she could catch right now before howling for a pack member.

She got lucky, and if she had believed in any gods, she might have thanked them. Instead, she trailed the scent of the rabbit, spotted it in the grass some feet away, and chased after it with all her might. Soon, she was trotting back to the borders of the valley pack with a fat, juicy, summer rabbit in her jaws. The urge to eat it herself was strong and she had to clear her mind of the bloodlust and put the rabbit down quickly to avoid temptation. Then she lifted her head and howled.
