Broken Boulder come back as some bones and so cynical

after a few days of more frequent feedings, brilliance regurgitating has (mostly) come to a stop. she doesn’t feel sluggish or cold anymore and she even harasses her siblings a bit and even enjoys the meat that’s offered, though she still prefers the milk. a recent feeding sits well in her belly and she looks tiredly upon the others, lingering briefly on queenie that pays them little mind, before looking toward the opening of the den.
 
she scarcely remembers a few days ago when she’d been toted away but something has given her a taste for exploration. she remembers somewhat bright and different colors, cooler days, and more voices than she can pull from the back of her mind. brilliance is quiet as she settles on the ground, enjoying the warmth of the sun peeking into the opening of the den.
