Dawnlark Plains peonies

she'd learned, somewhere between her first outing and now, that the Outside was a great deal better than she'd originally thought. she'd begun to hide away a small pile of objects in the rear corner of the den she shared with @Aviana. some of these objects where a great deal prettier than the rest, a few so common and unremarkable it seemed odd that the girl had any interest in them in the slightest. but today found the girl perched at the base of a sapling near the den, gaze trained upward and warbling whine escaping her throat every few moments. trapped in one of the branches, for too high for her to reach, dangled an iridescent blue feather. her tail wagged behind her in fierce wanting, and her gaze did not shift from the prize she wanted so.
