Kavik had little time to react once he had steadied himself when he felt Grezig's teeth on his leg. He was able to block her somewhat, but it only prevented her from getting a firm grip. He had intended to block her all together, but she was fast. With her teeth around his leg, he attempted to grab the fur on her neck and pull her off, but in his current position, it didn't really go as planned. He wasn't able to land a bite, but he was able to break free of her grasp and move away from her to turn and face the beta again.
