Swiftcurrent's namesake glistened bright silver when the morning sunlight reached its rippling surface just right, and she smiled sadly. She'd only been a member of the pack for a month, and yet she had so many memories there. Sinking to her belly in the grass, she gazed longingly at what was once her home, and relaxed beneath what was left of Summer's warm sun. Paar wondered how her former comrades were fairing and, lost in her flaring concern, decided that her potential prey could wait.
