The grown-up was impressed.
She widened her eyes like plates and began to whisper as if there were others around. This only excited the little red fireball even more, she began to peek over her shoulders as if expecting one of her brothers to pop out with an AHA! expression on their face. After making sure they were utterly alone, she turned her head again to face the pretty-faced female; then with her little teeth nibbling on her lower lip she nodded.
There was a secret inside the hollow log.

Maera clenched her jaw, in order to prevent the so-precious secret from spilling from her mouth as word-vomit. That until the female spoke about a secret of her own. Treasure? What treasure?!

Now it was the girl's turn to look amazed. Her eyes widened and her mouth gaped a little. She had walked down the whole thing and she hadn't found the presumed treasure. Had she missed it? Her instinct told her to run back in there and raid the place in search for it, but she forced herself to remain still-- or at least to try to.

"Um.. which one?" she blabbered, her tail wriggling like a snake and the tip of her meatball nose twitching wildly.
She had to tell, she just had to!
If not, then she would have to face the wrath of the loudest Sveijarn.
