Another starving loner, hooray!

El had been on his own for several weeks now and had grown accustom to the lack of available food, though it seemed that even the meagre prey he had survived off was dwindling. No one ever accused him of being a bright boy, and the idea that winter meant less food was not something he was aware of. His natal pack had always provided for him and he expected that was just how things were. Food was always there.

Thus far he had been travelling at night, his eyes following the paths the stars lay before him. Whatever the trouble he still held firm that the heavens would lead him in the right direction, hopefully without starving in the meantime. Now however he found himself navigating the low fog in an unfamiliar landscape, he had picked up the scent of another a short time ago and for no real reason decided he'd follow it, maybe they had food. Within short time came across his quarry, a few quick steps and he arrived within talking distance with a rather blunt, "Don't guess you know where to find something to eat around here?" Formalities? Names? That wasn't really important, food on the other hand.
There was the unfortunate downside that the white boy was about to get some rather devastating news, until then of course he was as rude as ever.
