Since joining the wolves of Hearthwood Able had rarely strayed far from the borders, if ever. He was graced with the ability to rot within stability and took that opportunity. Though most days he'd go unaware of his lack of presence there, there were some times when guilt would creep up on him. Today being one of those days.

For the first time in weeks, Able set out beyond the willow's borders. He sought out... something. The specifics hadn't been ironed out. A quick meal for the caches? A herd to take note of? It had to be something worthwhile.

So far he'd found nothing but grown over logs and a carpet of sticks and branches to trip over.
