Moving Bazi to the side! :)

Before she could hear a response, the pups' father stepped in beside her. Bazi yipped and bristled in surprise, scuttling sideways and away from the mouth of the den. It took her a few moments and some frenzied looking about to work out what was going on - Shadow's somber expression, Scimitar moving to stand a short distance away. Kaskara was quick to join him, and Bazi wondered how she could have missed the arrival of so many wolves.

She gave Shadow a stony look, nostrils flaring, but decided to give the family some privacy. Moments like these would be rare, if the pack's encounter with Shadow was anything to go by. Might as well let him say hello - and goodbye, to his children.

Bazi trotted to where the Frostfur siblings were seated, licking Kaskara's feathery cheek first and then - without thinking - bumped the crown of her head affectionately against Scimitar's shoulder. When she remembered herself, the young female took a quick (but miraculously dignified) step back, cleared her throat, and reversed into position next to Kaskara.
